Accordant & DonorSearch Form Strategic Partnership

By Accordant team

Accordant changed the health care philanthropy landscape with its Transformative Philanthropy™ model and is now taking relationship-based giving to the next level through a strategic partnership with DonorSearch.

This partnership leverages the power of two of health care philanthropy's most trusted firms: Accordant’s gratitude-based philanthropy services and DonorSearch’s ability to identify donors with the most important causes. In addition, DonorSearch and Accordant will deliver the science of donor research powered by artificial intelligence (AI) with the art of advancing relationship-based giving by one of the most experienced teams in health philanthropy.

Accordant CEO Betsy Chapin Taylor said, "Accordant was built on fostering authentic and values-based relationships with donors who wish to support the hospital’s mission and vision of potential. Truly engaging donors requires more than just understanding their capacity to give. It is about understanding the complete depth of connection they have with the hospital's mission, its doctors, caregivers, and their experience with those people and places. This exciting partnership with DonorSearch will enable Accordant to better serve our clients by harnessing data insights to illuminate the connections and intentions that support transformational giving through campaigns and grateful engagement programs."

DonorSearch leveraged its long history of providing grateful patient solutions to the health care market and combined it with additional engagement data sources to improve the accuracy of its new AI models to create DonorSearch AI. The robust platform brings powerful AI technology to connect and analyze fundraising history, electronic medical records data, wealth screening scores, experience touchpoints, and public information in one profile.

Bill TeDesco, DonorSearch CEO, said, "DonorSearch is proud to partner with Accordant. Accordant is one of the premier innovators and leaders in health care philanthropy. We look forward to integrating our best-in-class data services with their research-driven consulting solutions to create a robust, end-to-end solution for engaging grateful patients and families as charitable donors."

DonorSearch will train Accordant team members to assist its partners in implementing and maximizing its capabilities to their current fundraising management platforms. By adding DonorSearch AI tools, data and insights, Accordant is again revolutionizing health philanthropy.

DonorSearch knows philanthropy markers connect what is in someone’s heart—their aspirations in life—to their capacity to give to a nonprofit organization.
